Lic. Ana Carolina Arevalo

NICARAGUA

 

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Bilingual English – Spanish and basic knowledge of French and Portuguese. Originally from Granada, Nicaragua. She has been involved in the dog world since 2008, handling different breeds such as Great Dane, Miniature Pinscher, Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Boston Terrier, among other breeds in different Dog Shows in the country and abroad.

She has been part of the Nicaraguan Canine Association as a member of the Show committee, Editor and Designer of the Show Catalog for 2013, 2014, 2015. General Director of website media.

Established the first Rhodesian Ridgeback kennel in Nicaragua with the “NEARTMHOR” prefix in 2014. The Miniature Pinscher soon follows to be part of the kennel. She has obtained multiple championship tittles in Nicaragua and abroad with dogs owned and breed by her. Such as UNCACEN, and The America’s & Caribbean.  In shows she has placed her dogs as Best In Show Winner’s, and in every other category as well. Furthermore, placing top winning positions in the national ranking:

Best Foreign Dog of The Year: 2011 / Dog The Year: 2013, 2016, 2017.

Reserve Dog The Year: 2016. / Reserve Best Puppy of The Year: 2016.

Best Dog Breed In The Country: 2016, 2017. / Best Junior of The Year: 2017.

Best Kennel of The Year: 2017.

She has obtained certificate awards for attending several seminar: “Structure and Movement of the Dog”, “Reproduction, Genetic Problems, and Basic Care” and special distinction award for the support during the show cycle 2011 by Nicaragua Canine Association.  IPO Seminar conducted by working judge Mr. Leonardo Hernandez (Costa Rica). “ Grooming and Handling Seminar” by Mr. Saul Romero (Mexico). “ Structure and Judging The German Sheppard” by Mr. Jorge Maggi (Argentina). She has also covered several subjects in Canine Genetics by The Institute of Canine Biology.

Former member of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of America (RRCUS-USA), Belgian Rhodesian Ridgeback Club (BRRC), Miniature Pinscher Club of America (MPCA-USA). Has written article in this last one mentioned for the “Miniature Pinscher Patter”.

Currently is judge student and preparing for groups II & VI. She has judge the Children Class Competition, and she is appointed as judge assistant. Manager of the Official Webpage for the Nicaragua Canine Association, and Member of the Board of Directors. Nicaraguan Delegate at the FCI General Assembly, Leipzig-Germany 2017.
